The top-seeded Lady Bruins will play in the NCCAA DII South Region Semifinal match on Friday night at the Davis Field House. The team will be playing the winner of the play-in match earlier in the day between #4 Johnson University (FL) and #5 Trinity Baptist College.
The Bruins enter the tournament after finishing the regular season at 9-6, with the team winning five of their last six matches to close out the season. The Bruins have seen success both against Johnson University (FL) and Trinity Baptist College in their history.
Last week, the Bruins wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 sweep of Trinity Baptist College in Mount Vernon, Georgia. The winner of Friday's semifinal match will advance to the region championship on Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Bruins come into the regional tournaments having won four-straight NCCAA DII South Region titles. Tip-off for the semifinal match on Friday night is set 7 p.m. in Greenville, South Carolina.
