The Lady Bruins will play an NCCAA DII South Region matchup on Saturday afternoon as the team battled Trinity Baptist College in the Davis Field House in Greenville, South Carolina. The Bruins are coming off a win on Friday night as the team defeated Carolina Christian College 77-69 to improve to 1-6 on the season. Tamrah Konieczka and Delaney Edwards each had 23 points in the win.
The Bruins welcome Trinity Baptist on Saturday with the Eagles entering the game on the heels of back to back losses to East Georgia State College and Johnson University (FL).
The Bruins and Eagles met twice last season with the Bruins winning both matchups convincingly. The Bruins own an 11-2 record all-time against Trinity Baptist but the Eagles come into the game with a 2-2 region record this season with wins over Johnson University (FL) and Trinity College.
Tip-off for Saturday's game is scheduled for 1 p.m.
