The Bruins volleyball team will be on the road on Saturday afternoon for a tri-match as the team faces Regent University and Emory & Henry College in Emory, Virginia. The Bruins come into the matches on the heels of a tough 3-1 loss to Pfeiffer University on Thursday night.
For the first match of the day, the Bruins will be paired with Regent University at 1 p.m. The two teams have met just once in their history during the 2019 season where the Bruins won in convincing fashion in straight sets.
The Royals come into the match on Saturday at 2-5 on the season and will play a Friday tri-match against Emory & Henry College and Johnson & Wales University.
In the second match of the Saturday tri-match, the Bruins will face Emory & Henry College for the first time in program history. The Wasps come into the match at 4-8 on the season having lost four of their last five matches heading into this weekend's play.
The Bruins will look to get back on track as the team heads into the tri-match at 14-4 on the season.
