The Bob Jones University Bruins are back in conference play as they go on the road to take on NCCAA DI opponent Carolina University in the Battle of the Bruins.
Due to weather and field conditions, the last two matches for the women's soccer team were canceled and the BJU Bruins haven't played a game since their 4-1 win against Southern Wesleyan University on September 30. The Bruins have won their last 10 matches and are looking to improve on their 11-1-0 record.
The Carolina University Bruins enter Tuesday's match on the heels of a 9-0 conference win over Regent University to improve to 3-1 in conference play and 5-6 overall.
Tuesday's match marks the sixth meeting between both Bruins sides. Bob Jones has won all five of the previous matchups and have shutout Carolina in four of the five games. The two teams last met in the NCCAA DI National Tournament in Kissimmee, Florida where BJU defeated Carolina University 3-0.
The Battle of the Bruins continues at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at BB&T Soccer Park.
