After back to back wins on Saturday, the Bruins volleyball team is back on the road on Tuesday night as the team will face Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. The Bruins come into the match on a nine-game winning streak as the team is 23-4 on the season.
The Bruins went 3-0 in competition last week, capping a perfect 8-0 record in region play this season. The team swept Tocco Falls on Tuesday night before defeating Johnson University (FL) and Pensacola Christian College on Saturday in a road tri-match.
Piedmont College comes into the match at 6-17, but the team has played well of late winning three of their last four. Earlier this season, the Bruins and Lions played in the Davis Field House with the Bruins winning 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-18). Victoria Glaze led the Bruins with 10 kills and 7 digs in the win.
With just four matches remaining in the regular season, the Bruins look to close out the final week strong. Tuesday's match is set to begin at 7 p.m. in Cave Arena.
