With just three games remaining in the regular season, the Bruins volleyball team will look to keep up their winning ways as the team travels to Misenheimer, North Carolina, Thursday night for a matchup with Pfeiffer University.
The Bruins enter the match on a ten-game winning streak with their last loss coming at the hands of Pfeiffer University on September 30. In a back and forth matchup, the Falcons rallied to take set two and rode the momentum to a 3-1 win in the Davis Field House. Victoria Glaze led the Bruins with 17 kills and 3 aces in the loss.
The Bruins sit at 24-4 on the season and are coming off a 3-1 road win over Piedmont College on Tuesday. Pfeiffer enters Thursday's match at 18-10 on the season but have struggled of late losing three of their last four including a 3-0 sweep against North Carolina Wesleyan on Tuesday night.
Thursday's match is slated for 7 p.m. in Merner Gym at Pfeiffer University.
