The Bruins welcome Carolina University to the Davis Field House on Friday night for homecoming at Bob Jones University. The Bruins enter the match at 17-4 on the season after sweeping Brevard College in straight sets on Tuesday night. Victoria Glaze led the way for the Bruins with 12 kills and 10 digs while Rachel Pattisall had 19 assists to go along with 6 aces in the win.
This will be the 9th matchup in the battle of the Bruins as the Carolina Bruins come into the match at 6-5 having won two of their last three. In the history between these two programs, the BJU Bruins own a 7-1 record against Carolina but their undefeated recorded ended last season as CU won in a five-set thriller in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Just weeks later, the BJU Bruins won 3-1 over Carolina in the Davis Field House.
BJU has won seven of their last eight matches this season and looks to keep up their winning ways as they welcome Carolina on Friday night in the next chapter of the battle of the Bruins.
