The women's basketball team goes on the road on Tuesday as they take on Brevard College in North Carolina. The Bruins enter this game 2-2 overall after splitting the weekend with a win against Carolina University on Friday and a loss to Welch College on Saturday. Delaney Edwards led the Bruins with 48 points and 13 rebounds on the weekend.
Brevard is 1-1 on the season after narrowly falling 57-60 to Greenville University on Friday and defeating Berry College on Saturday 65-52. The Tornadoes ended last season with a 6-6 record and fell in the first round of the USA South West Division Tournament to Piedmont University.
Tuesday's game will be the seventh time the two schools have met. The Bruins fell 49-54 in their last meeting in February of 2020. During that game Gracen Ledford led the Bruins with 12 points and 4 rebounds. The Bruins have only won one of the six previous games with that game coming back on November of 2018.
