The women's basketball team travels up to the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina to face Warren Wilson College on Tuesday evening.
The Bruins come into the game after a 87-47 win over Agnes Scott College in their home opener last Friday. Jessiann Wiedmann led the Bruins with 22 points, and teammate Delaney Edwards was close behind with a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Tuesday's game will serve as the season opener for the Owls. Due to COVID restrictions last year, the Owls only played a month's worth of games and came out 1-7 on the season.
The last time the two teams met in the regular-season was back in 2018 where the Bruins narrowly fell 73-79. Tuesday will mark the 13th time the two schools have met, with the record split down the middle.
The Bruins will look to get their first win against the Owls since January of 2016. Tomorrow's game is scheduled to tip-off at 6 p.m.
