The Bruins will face off against two new opponents as they travel to Virginia to battle Regent University on Tuesday afternoon and Mary Baldwin University on Wednesday. The women's soccer team has been strong offensively scoring eight goals in their last two matches. Mia Marks leads the team with five goals scored this season, but teammate Kayle Stevenson is right on her heels with four goals tallied this year.
The first match of the week comes against DI NCCAA opponent Regent University. The Royals are 1-2-0 on the season with their last game played to an 8-0 loss against North Carolina Wesleyan College on September 4.
After their match finishes on Tuesday, the Bruins will make the 3 1/2 hour drive from Virginia Beach to Staunton, VA where they will take on Mary Baldwin University Wednesday at 3 p.m. Both sides will go into Wednesday's match coming off of a Tuesday afternoon match. The Fighting Squirrels come into this week 3-1-0 with their most recent loss coming on September 11.
