The Bruins will be back in action on Tuesday night as the team welcomes South Region rival Toccoa Falls College to the Davis Field House. This will be the first of two tough NCCAA DII South Region matchups for the Bruins this week.
The team comes into Tuesday's match at 11-3 on the season. The Bruins went 3-2 in competition last week, sweeping Piedmont on Tuesday before defeating Paine College (3-0) and Erskine College (3-2) on Friday night. The team then struggled on Saturday as they fell to Johnson (TN) (3-1) and Columbia International (3-0) to round out the weekend.
Toccoa Falls enters the match on Tuesday at 4-6 on the season. The Screaming Eagles snapped a three-game losing streak on Friday as the team swept Carolina University 3-0. Kassidy Dell led TFC with 9 kills in the win.
The matchup between the Bruins and Screaming Eagles will be the 17th meeting between the two programs. Last season, the Screaming Eagles defeated BJU 3-2 on October 13, the first time TFC had won the matchup with the Bruins holding a 15-1 record against the Screaming Eagles.
Tuesday's matchup is set to begin at 7 p.m. in the Davis Field House.
