The Bruins are back in action Friday night as the women's volleyball team welcomes South Region rival Pensacola Christian College to the Davis Field House for a blackout game.
The ladies comes into Friday's game 12-3 on the season after sweeping other NCCAA DII opponent in Toccoa Falls College at home on Tuesday night. Pensacola is now 4-9 after losing to the University of Mobile 3-0 on Tuesday.
Friday's match will be the second time the Bruins and Eagles have faced off this season with the Bruins bringing home a 3-0 victory on September 11 in a kickoff tournament down in Lakeland, Florida.
The rivals have faced off 14 times in the last five years with the Bruins owning a 13-1 record against the Eagles. Bob Jones has held Pensacola without winning a set since September 6, 2019 where the Bruins beat them 3-1.
Wear your black gear and get ready to cheer, Friday's match begins at 7 p.m. in the Davis Field House.
