The Bruins volleyball team enters the final stretch of the regular season as the team welcomes the Piedmont University Lions to the Davis Field House on Tuesday. The Bruins come into the match in the midst of a 10-match winning streak as the team sits at 17-5 on the season and 6-0 in region play.
The Lions come into Tuesday's matchup at 3-13 on the season following back to back losses to Berea College and Huntingdon University on Saturday. The Bruins and Lions met earlier this season in Georgia as the Bruins came away with a 3-1 win over Piedmont.
In that match, the Bruins had four players record double-digit kills with Timbre Cruz leading the way with a double-double 10 kills and 27 digs. Tuesday's matchup will be the 8th meeting between the two programs with the Bruins posting a 6-1 record against Piedmont.
The Bruins have posted a perfect 7-0 record at the Davis Field House this season and the team hopes to wrap up their seven-match homestand with a win as they welcome the Lions for a 7 p.m. match.
