After playing their final home match of the regular season on Tuesday, the Bruins are back on the road this weekend for three matches over the course of two days. On Friday, the Bruins will head to Georgia for a South region showdown against Toccoa Falls College.
The Bruins come into the match on a hot streak as the team has recorded seven-straight shutouts and are in the midst of an eleven-match winning streak. The Bruins sit at 18-5 on the season and take their perfect 6-0 region record into their final region matchup of the season on Friday.
Toccoa Falls enters Friday's matchup at 10-6 on the season having split their home tri-match on Tuesday with a win over Johnson & Wales University and a loss to Carolina University.
The Bruins and Screaming Eagles last met on September 27 as the Bruins swept TFC 3-0 in the Davis Field House. In that matchup, Emma Riddle led the way for the Bruins with 9 kills while Timbre Cruz finished with 8 in the win.
Friday's match marks the 21st meeting between the two programs with the Bruins posting a 19-1 record against TFC. The Bruins hope to wrap up region play undefeated as the team will battle the Screaming Eagles on Friday night with the match set for 7 p.m.
