The Bruins volleyball team looks to get back on track as the team travels to Misenheimer, North Carolina, Thursday night for a matchup with Pfeiffer University.
The Bruins come into the match in the midst of a three-match skid after losses to Toccoa Falls College, Milligan University, and Truett-McConnell University last week. Prior to that, the Bruins had been on a hot streak winning 11-straight as the team sits at 18-8 on the season.
Pfeiffer University enters Thursday's match at 6-19 on the season having dropped seven of their last eight matches including a loss to William Peace University on Tuesday.
The Bruins and Falcons met earlier this season in Greenville as the team swept Pfeiffer 3-0. Three different Bruins recorded double-digit kills for the team with Timbre Cruz leading the way with 11 kills to go along with 19 digs.
This will be just the fourth meeting between the two programs with the Bruins holding a 2-1 record against the Falcons. The Bruins hope to get back into the winning column on Thursday night in this road match with the time to start set for 7 p.m.
