The Bruins are back on the road as they travel to Misenheimer, North Carolina to face Pfeiffer University Tuesday night.
Coming off of their first week of games, the women's basketball team is still searching for their first win of the season as they enter Tuesday's game 0-3 on the season. Despite falling 81-118 to Birmingham-Southern College on Saturday, Head Coach Mike LeViere said he saw "our best performance so far this season and it was exactly what we needed for us to learn and grow. We are getting stronger and gaining confidence each outing. As long as we can keep our heads up and continue improving, good things will eventually happen!"
With two games under their belt this season, Pfeiffer University comes into this week 1-1 on the season. The Falcons picked up their first win of the season against Agnes Scott on Saturday, defeating the Scotties 78-49 on the road.
Tuesday's game will be the first meeting between the Bruins and the Falcons. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Merner Gym in Misenheimer, North Carolina.
