The Bob Jones University women's basketball team is back on the road to close out 2022 in Sewanee, Tennessee. Their final game of the semester will come against the Sewanee Tigers in a 2 p.m. contest on Saturday.
The Bruins come into the weekend game after falling 56-47 to Pfeiffer University on Thursday. The team had a good showing on defense, but struggled offensively throughout the game. It was Tamrah Konieczka who led the way for the Bruins with 12 points while Shea Dickinson was at the top with 10 rebounds in Thursday's contest. They now sit at 5-6 overall this season.
Sewanee enters the weekend 2-9 overall this season. The Tigers are currently on a six game losing slide with their most recent result coming at a 79-56 loss to Asbury University on December 6.
Saturday marks the first meeting between the Bruins and Tigers. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. from Sewanee, Tennessee.
