The Bruins basketball team will be on the road on Tuesday night as the team travels to Charlotte, North Carolina, for a matchup with Johnson & Wales University. The Bruins come into the game at 3-2 on the season having split their games in competition last week with a win over Berea College and a loss to Asbury University.
On Friday, the Bruins came out strong as four players scored in double figures with Henry Blair leading the way with 29 points in the win over Berea. On Saturday, turnover woes would plague the Bruins throughout the contest as the team couldn't recover from an early deficit in a loss to Asbury University. Five players scored in double figures with Blair again leading the way with 18 points while the team shot 50% from the floor.
Johnson and Wales comes into Tuesday's matchup at 3-5 on the season. The Wildcats hope to snap a four-game losing skid as the team welcomes the Bruins in the 14th meeting between the two programs.
The Bruins own a 7-6 record against JWU all-time including a 4-3 record in Charlotte. This will be the first meeting between the two programs since the 2018-19 season with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. in North Carolina.
