The women's basketball team is back at home after a weekend on the road in North Carolina and Georgia. The Bruins host Brevard College on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. tip-off at the Davis Field House in Greenville, South Carolina.

Looking to improve upon their 5-3 season record, the Bruins enter the week on a five game winning streak. On Friday, they defeated Warren Wilson 73-41 in Asheville, North Carolina. Bethany Daulton led the way with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Teammates Shea Dickinson and Katrina Tabora were close behind with 12 points apiece.

The next day, the team made the trip to Lookout Mountain, Georgia where they faced Covenant College. After seeing themselves down19 points in the fourth quarter, the Bruins rallied and Anna Layne Wylder hit the game-winning three pointer with under 10 seconds remaining to give the Bruins their fifth straight win. Tamrah Konieczka recorded a double double coming away with 10 points and 13 rebounds. 

Brevard enters the week 5-3 on the season. On Sunday, the Tornados faced Furman University in an exhibition match where they fell 102-30. But the day before, they grabbed a 96-84 win against Salem College. 

The Bruins and Tornados opened the 2022-23 season against each other where Brevard came out on top with a 67-49 result. Tuesday will be the 10th meeting between the two teams with Brevard owning the 7-2 record. 

Bob Jones looks to stay undefeated at home as they welcome Brevard to the Davis Field House on Tuesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
