The Bruins will play their third game this week as they travel down to Florida to face South Region rivals Pensacola Christian College.
The Eagles and Bruins met less than a month ago at the Davis Field House, where Pensacola was able to come away with the 58-71 win. Coming into Saturday's game, the women's basketball team will look to get back in the win column as they went 0-2 this week against Warren Wilson on Tuesday and Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday. The Bruins look to improve their conference record as they are 3-1 in NCCAA South Region play this year.
It's been a successful season for Pensacola as they enter this weekend's game 16-2 on the year. They faced Trinity Baptist College on Thursday where they soared over them 75-42.
Saturday's game will be the 23rd time the rivals have met. As the Bruins make the trip to Florida, they are 3-4 against the Eagles on the road.
Tip-off for this weekend is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST.
