The women's basketball team is back at the Davis Field House for another home game as they host Warren Wilson College Tuesday evening for a 5 p.m. game. The Bruins come into the game after a narrow 70-71 loss to Covenant College on Saturday night.

One of the highlight's from last Saturday's game against Covenant College was Delaney Edwards reaching a career milestone as she scored her 1,000th point as a Bruin. Despite being down by 20 at one point of the game, the team rallied together in the 3rd and 4th quarters to get back in the game. The lead changed three times in the last minute of the game to make for an exciting ending. The Bruins ultimately came up one point short as they fell 70-71. Four Bruins players scored in the double figures. Delaney Edwards led the Bruins with 18 points and 6 steals, but it was also a great night for Gracen Ledford as she came away with 11 points and 9 assists.

The Bruins come into Tuesday's game 8-11 on the season. They faced Warren Wilson in Asheville, NC at the beginning of the season where they fell 56-64.

The Owls picked up a big win against Apprentice over the weekend after struggling in the month of January where they went only won one of their seven games to start the second half of the season.

Tuesday's game will mark the 14th time the two Carolina schools have met with the Owls holding the 7-6 record over the Bruins.

"When we played Warren Wilson earlier this season, we didn't have a lot of rhythm," said Head Coach Mike LeViere. "Right now we're seeing that when we get in a rhythm offensively, really good things happen. That's going to be one of the points of emphasis this game."

Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Davis Field House.
