The Bruins volleyball team welcomes Brevard College on Thursday night for the home opener of the 2022 season. The Bruins have played nine matches on the road and the team is looking forward to playing in front of the Bruin faithful in the Davis Field House.
The Bruins enter Thursday's matchup at 5-4 on the season. Last weekend, the Bruins went 4-0 in the NCCAA DII South Region Kickoff tournament in Pensacola, Florida. The Bruins had a strong showing as they went undefeated in region play.
Brevard College enters the match on Thursday at 2-4 on the season as the team has dropped four straight including back to back matches to Berea and Bridgewater on Saturday.
The Bruins and Tornadoes met twice last season with the Bruins winning both matchups. Thursday's match kicks off the first of five matches for the Bruins this weekend. The home opener is set to get underway on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Davis Field House.
