The Bruins volleyball team opens a six-match homestand on Tuesday as the team welcomes South region rival Toccoa Falls College to the Davis Field House. The Bruins come in on a hot streak as the team has won four straight and ten of their last eleven matches.
The Bruins went 2-0 in competition last week with wins over Piedmont University and Johnson & Wales University. Last week, the Bruins jumped to #3 overall in the coaches' poll for national rankings while Toccoa Falls College came in at #7 overall in the top-ten for Division II.
The Screaming Eagles have been on a hot streak of their own as the team has six-straight matches including wins over Agnes Scott College and Piedmont University. This will be the 20th meeting between the Bruins and Screaming Eagles with the Bruins owning an 18-1 record against TFC.
Another chapter in this rivalry is set to be written on Tuesday as the Bruins compete in just their second home match of the season. The Bruins look to keep up their winning ways as they welcome Toccoa for a 7 p.m. match in the Davis Field House.
