The Bruins volleyball team takes their six-match winning streak into the weekend as the team welcomes Paine College and Carolina University to the Davis Field House for a Saturday tri-match. The Bruins enter the match having won twelve of their last thirteen matches as the team sits at 13-5 on the season and 5-0 in region play.
The Bruins come into the tri-match after back to back home wins this week. On Tuesday, the Bruins swept region rival Toccoa Falls College before recording another sweep on Thursday in a 3-0 win over Pfeiffer University.
On Saturday, the Bruins will face Paine College in the opening match of the tri-match. The Bruins and Lions met for the first time in the 2021 season with the Bruins winning 3-0 on September 17. The Lions come into the match at 1-9 on the season following back to back losses to Wesleyan College and Clark Atlanta.
The Bruins will wrap up the weekend as the welcome Carolina University for another chapter in the battle of the Bruins. Carolina comes into the match at 10-4 on the season and has been on a hot streak winning six of their last seven matches.
The first match of the day will begin at 12 p.m. for the Bruins as they face Paine College before facing Carolina University at 4 p.m. The Bruins will look to keep up their winning ways as they welcome the Lions and Bruins to the Davis Field House.
