The Bruins volleyball team will be on the road on Thursday night as the team faces Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. The team enters Thursday's road match at 1-3 on the season after competing in the Cougar Classic last weekend in Danville, Virginia.
The Bruins opened last weekend with a tough 3-0 loss to William Peace University but responded well in the second match of the day as the team rallied to win 3-2 against Roanoke College. On Saturday, the Bruins battled hard but found themselves on the losing end of back to back matches against Averett College and Meredith College.
Huntingdon comes into the match on Thursday at 3-1 on the season. The team dropped their season opener on September 1 to Birmingham-Southern but responded well with a win over LaGrange on Friday before recording back to back sweeps over North Carolina Wesleyan and Alverno on Saturday.
This will be the first-ever matchup between the Bruins and Hawks with the match set for 7 p.m. (EST) in Montgomery, Alabama.
