After nearly two weeks without a game, the Bob Jones University women's basketball team is back on the road as they travel to Virginia Beach, Virginia for a contest against Regent University.
The women's basketball team comes into the weekend on a two game winning streak after beating Johnson University (FL) 75-72 on January 5 and earning an 80-77 win over Great Lakes Christian College on January 6. In their win over Great Lakes, Tamrah Konieczka finished with a double double coming away with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Anna Layne Wylder also had an impressive game as she scored 22 points, her highest scoring game of the season.
Regent University enters the weekend still looking for their first regular season win. They sit at 0-7 on the year after falling in a tough 72-30 loss to Shaw University on January 5. The Bruins and Royals met for the first time earlier this season where the Bruins pulled out a 77-34 win in front of a home crowd at the Davis Field House.
Friday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
