After being on the road for over a month, the Bob Jones University women's basketball team is back in the Davis Field House to play their first home game of 2023. On Tuesday, January 24, the Bruins will host Paine College for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off as they look to continue their winning ways.
The Bruins enter the contest 8-7 on the season and on a three game winning streak after defeating Regent University 58-43 in Virginia Beach, Virginia on Friday. Bethany Daulton and Catherine Skebo led the Bruins in scoring as each contributed 10 points. Shea Dickinson also had a good night on the court as she finished with 10 rebounds and 9 points.
Paine College comes into the contest 1-11 on the season. The Lions picked up their only win of the season in a 70-45 decision over Benedict College on January 9. Since then, Paine College has fallen in back to back games against Allen University and Clinton College on January 12 and 16.
This will mark the first ever meeting between the Bruins and Lions. Tuesday's game is set to tip-off at 5:30 p.m. in the Davis Field House in Greenville, South Carolina.
