The Bruins volleyball team is back at home this week after playing some tough competition over the weekend. Friday, the Bruins took on the Pensacola Christian College Eagles and on Saturday, they traveled to Cleveland, Georgia for a tri-match against NAIA teams Tennessee Wesleyan University and Truett McConnell University.
The Wildcats took on Clinton College Saturday where the two teams would battle it out across five sets. With the loss, the Wildcats would drop to 3-15 on the season. Their season is just past the halfway mark and will look to get back into the win column.
Previously this season, the two teams played in Charlotte, North Carolina on Johnson and Wales home court. The Wildcats were a tough team, but the Bruins made it a quick trip pouncing on a 3-0 win. Two Bruins, Katherine Hoopes and Timbre Cruz, recorded double digit kills while Katelyn Landkrohn put together 19 digs. This upcoming matchup between the two teams will be Tuesday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
