Homecoming is here as the women's soccer team kicks off the Homecoming games on Saturday at 4 p.m. from Alumni Stadium. Saturday's matchup features the Florida College Falcons and your BJU Bruins.

The Bruins enter the weekend undefeated on the season. On Tuesday, they stepped up in key areas to produce a big 5-1 win over Greensboro College. Throughout the season, the Bruins have outscored their opponents 25-7, scoring an average of 2.27 goals per game. Gabriela Gonzalez leads the Burins with 10 goals tallied this year. 

Florida College comes to Greenville 2-5-3 this year. They began the month of October with a match at Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia on Thursday where they played to a 1-1 draw. After going down 1-0 in the 63rd minute, Victoria Fonseca headed the ball into the net off of a corner kick to equalize the game in the 81st. 

The Bruins and Falcons first met in Temple Terrace, Florida on October 2, 2014 where the Bruins took home the 2-1 win. Just two weeks later, Florida College made their way to South Carolina where the Bruins shut them out 1-0 at Alumni Stadium. Their most recent meeting was in 2022 in a high-scoring affair. The Falcons tied the game at four goals apiece in the 85th minute before former Bruin and current assistant coach Anna Grace Abrams tallied the game-winning goal with just minutes remaining. 

Kickoff for Saturday's Homecoming match is scheduled for 4 p.m.
