The Bob Jones University women's soccer team heads into the NCCAA DII South Regional Tournament after earning the #1 seed. The tournament will be hosted by Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Bruins wrapped up the regular season at 10-1-6 while remaining undefeated in their two regional games.
Following a match against Toccoa Falls College and Trinity Baptist College, Bob Jones will take to the field Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. where they will face #4 Campbellsville University Harrodsburg.
The winners of each of Thursday's games will head to the championship match set to be played at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Earlier this season, the Bruins took on the CUH Pioneers for the first time in program history as part of a three-game Kentucky road trip. In that match, five different Bruins got on the board to secure the 5-0 shutout. The Bruins later took on Toccoa Falls College where a hat trick by Gabriela Gonzalez propelled the Bruins to a 3-0 victory over the region opponent. While the Bruins didn't face Trinity Baptist College this season, they are no stranger to the Eagles. Since 2015, the Bruins and Eagles have met 10 times with the Bruins owning the 9-1 series record.

This season, the Bruins have been ranked in the top-ten in the NCCAA Coaches' Poll and finished the regular season at number one. Additionally, the lead DII women's soccer in the NCCAA power rankings.
They look to reach another NCCAA DII National Tournament as they compete for their sixth South Region title this weekend in Jacksonville, Florida.
