The scrappy Saints played neck and neck with the Bruins every step of the way. Going into extra points, the Bruins were able to get the job done 27-25. Going into the second set, both teams looked strong, but the Bruins edged out another slim lead to go up 2-0 on the Saints. At the beginning of the of the third set, the Saints took a slim lead over the Bruins, but regained the lead with Katelyn Landkrohn serving the heat. The Bruins never looked back and swept the Saints 3-0.
