With the regular season finally over, it's time to turn the attention towards the postseason.  As the team gets ready for the postseason, they host the NCCAA DII South Region Volleyball Tournament Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4. Tuesday night, the Bruins played their final match of the regular season beating Piedmont University 3-0. They finished their regular season campaign 28-5 overall and 6-1 in conference play.

Five teams are set to participate in the South Region Tournament. The BJU Bruins received the #1 seed and are hosting this year. Their match is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. where they will face either the #4 seed or #5 seed. The winner of the match will move on to play on Saturday against the #2 or #3 seed in the South Region Championship.

The following is the seeding for this week's South Regional Tournament.

#1 - Bob Jones University
#2 - Pensacola Christian College
#3 - Toccoa Falls College
#4 - Trinity College of Florida
#5 - Trinity Baptist College

The Bruins are seeking a second straight region title and the seventh in program history. Throughout the season, the Bruins have been ranked in the top-ten in the NCCAA Coaches' Poll and finished the season ranked number 2 behind Manhattan Christian (20-3). With Nationals in sight, the Bruins will look to make a return as the defending champions and claim their sixth straight national title.

The tournament begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday with Trinity College of FL and Trinity Baptist College facing off against each other. Then at 4:30 p.m. Pensacola Christian College and Toccoa Falls College will hit the court. The Bruins will then close out the evening playing the winner of the 2:00 p.m. game.

Doors will open one hour before the first match of the day. All spectators must enter through the main entrance. Tickets will be sold inside the main lobby each day. On Friday, $10 will give access to all three games. Saturday will cost $5. BJU students, faculty, and staff can get in both days for $5 with a valid ID. Children 12 and under will not be charged. All games will be webcast on the BJU Bruins YouTube channel.
