The Bob Jones University men's basketball team wraps up the 2023 semester with a Friday afternoon home game against Huntingdon College.
The Bruins enter the contest with a 3-3 season record. Last Friday, December 8, the Bruins faced off against Regent University where they finished in a dominant 87-66 victory. The next day, the Bruins made their way to Furman University for a Saturday exhibition against the Paladins.
Huntingdon College makes the trip to Greenville for the first time holding a 6-5 record. They are on a two game winning streak after beating Welch College and Pensacola Christian College last week. Through 11 games played, the Hawks have averaged 81.4 points per game.
Friday's game marks the third meeting between the Bruins and the Hawks with Huntingdon holding the 0-2 series record. The two teams first met in 2013 and then again 2019 where the Bruins fell in narrow defeats each time.
Looking ahead to Friday's game, Coach Uwarow said, "now we close out 2023 at home after finals. I'm hoping we can keep our momentum."
The Bruins look to stay undefeated at home. Tip-off for Friday's game is scheduled for 4 p.m. from the Davis Field House.
