The women's basketball team is set to defend their home court for the second night in a row. The Bruins will welcome the Brevard College Tornados Tuesday night for a 6:00 p.m. matchup. The Tornados currently lead the series 9-2 over the Bruins.
The Bruins and Tornados played earlier this season where the Tornados got the best of the Bruins. Looking forward to the season's beginnings, the Bruins fell behind early in that game and couldn't keep up in the 60-80 final. This time around, the Bruins will look to get the win over them.
The Tornados enter this matchup 5-2 after winning over conference opponent, Salem College 66-46. Brevard College is a NCAA DIII member and participates in the USA South Conference. The conference, road win was led by sophomore, Olivia Miller with a double-double tallying 16 points and 10 rebounds. Not far behind was senior, Makenna Parkins tallying 16 points of her own.
The Bruins picked up their first win of the season over the weekend against Greensboro College. The Saturday matchup was led by Katrina Tabora with 17 points as the Bruins finished off the Pride 72-66. The 1-5 Bruins play one more game before welcoming the Tornados to the Davis Field House Tuesday night.
