After a tough loss on the road to Paine College Monday evening, the Bob Jones University women's basketball team is looking to bounce back as they face NCCAA South region opponent Trinity Baptist College Saturday afternoon. The Bruins make the trip to Jacksonville, Florida with a 9-13 overall record and sit at 2-4 on the season in conference play.
With just two more games remaining in the regular season, the Bruins will look to battle and snap a five game losing streak. The last win for the women's basketball team came back on January 27 against Trinity Baptist College in a 73-66 decision.
Trinity enters the weekend 6-13 on the season after falling to Pensacola Christian College 82-56 on February 3. Their loss to PCC snapped a two game streak.
Saturday will be the 19th time the Bruins and Eagles have met with the Bruins holding the 15-3 series record. Tip-off for Saturday's game is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.
