The Bob Jones University women's basketball team looks to bounce back as they take on Paine College tonight at 6:30 p.m. in Augusta, Georgia. The Bruins come into the Monday game on a four game losing slide after a tough 59-55 loss to Pensacola Christian College on the road Saturday night.
On Saturday's game, the Bruins struggled to get the ball in the basket the first quarter only seeing three points on the scoreboard. They stormed back in the second quarter to take the lead. They held on to their lead until the final frame where PCC went on a 12 point run to tie and then regain the lead. It remained close, but at the buzzer the Bruins fell by four to the Eagles.
Paine College enters the week 2-14 on the season. Their last win came against the Bruins when the two sides met in Greenville, South Carolina back on January 24. Monday's game will be the second meeting between the Bruins and Lions.
Tip-off for tonight's contest is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the HEAL Complex in Augusta, Georgia.
