The women's soccer team welcomes Covenant College to Alumni Stadium for the Bruins home opener Saturday afternoon.
On Wednesday, the Bruins picked up a big 4-1 win over Pfeiffer University. After falling behind 1-0 early into the game, the Bruins regrouped and scored four unanswered goals to remain undefeated and improve to 2-0-1 on the season.
Covenant College enters the weekend looking for their first win of the year. The Scots lost their home opener with a 3-1 decision against Transylvania University before coming away with a 2-2 draw against Birmingham-Southern College on Tuesday.
Saturday marks just the second meeting between the Scots and the Bruins. In their last meeting on October 12, 2019, the Scots left Greenville, South Carolina with the 1-0 victory.
Kickoff for Saturday's game is scheduled for 2 p.m. from Alumni Stadium.
