The Bob Jones University men's basketball team goes on the road for a Saturday exhibition against Johnson & Wales University. The Bruins enter the weekend on a three game winning streak after picking up a 102-56 victory over Trinity College of Florida Thursday night.
Johnson & Wales looks to break a three game losing slide as they come into the weekend 6-7 overall after falling in a tight contest to King University on Monday.
Saturday's contest marks the 16th meeting between the Bruins and Wildcats where BJU holds the 9-7 series record. The two programs met at the Davis Field House back on November 18, where the Bruins played a solid game and finished ahead 79-66.
When speaking of the upcoming game, Head Coach Burton Uwarow said, "Johnson & Wales is a tough team. It's been a number of years since we've been able to win at their place. I try to schedule that right in the middle of conference play so we go on the road and don't get complacent. It will be good for us."
Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. from the JWU Wildcat Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
