The BJU Bruins enter the weekend 19-8 on the season looking to extend their 14 game winning streak. The women's volleyball team opens their road trip with a battle of the Bruins on Friday afternoon at Carolina University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Carolina University picked up a 3-1 win over Johnson C. Smith University on Tuesday to improve to 11-6 season record. Friday's game will mark the 13th contest between the two Bruins teams where BJU holds the 9-3 series record. 

Following Friday's game at Carolina University, the Bruins will make the hour drive to Misenheimer, North Carolina for a Saturday afternoon tri-match. 

First up on the on Saturday's slate is a contest against Salem College at 2 p.m. The Spirits come into the weekend with an impressive 17-4 record. Last year, the Bruins and Spirits met for the second time in program history where Salem College overtook the Bruins in a five-set thriller. 

The volleyball team will wrap up their weekend against the host program at Pfeiffer University. The Bruins lead the Falcons 5-1 in their all-time series record. After falling 3-0 to William Peace on Wednesday, the Falcons (4-15 on the season) look to rebound against Bob Jones.
