The Bob Jones University Bruins are set for back-to-back contests this weekend. On Friday, the Bruins will travel to Georgia to face Toccoa Falls College before hosting Paine College at the Davis Field House on Saturday.

The Bruins enter this weekend on a high note after a thrilling come from behind victory on Wednesday over Spartanburg Methodist College. The five-set win saw the Bruins improve to 21-10 on the year. 

BJU opens the weekend with a 7 p.m. contest against their NCCAA South Region rival Toccoa Falls College. The Bruins and Screaming Eagles have met twice this season with the Bruins taking both wins. After falling 3-1 to Brewton Parker on Tuesday, Toccoa Falls enters the game with a 7-14 record. Friday's game will mark the 27th meeting between the two programs with the Bruins owning the 23-3 all-time series record.

Friday's game is crucial as the Bruins look to enter the NCCAA South Region tournament as a high seed. 

Following Friday's contest, the Bruins will be back in the Davis Field House for a 2 p.m. Saturday game against Paine College. The Lions make their way to Greenville with a 6-6 record. Saturday's game marks just the fourth meeting between the Bruins and Lions. Paine College and Bob Jones last met in October 2022 in Augusta, Georgia where the Bruins completed the sweep to go 3-0 in the series. 

Saturday's contest will also serve as Camper Appreciation Day where Bruins Sports Campers are invited to wear their camp t-shirts and greet Bruins players after the game.
