The new month begins with the Bob Jones University women's basketball team making the trip to Charlotte, North Carolina for a Friday night game against Johnson & Wales University.
Friday's game marks the second contest of the season for the Bruins as they make their way to North Carolina 0-1 on the year. Last week, Bob Jones opened their 2024-25 campaign against Columbia College where they fell in a 55-76 decision. Newcomer Keely Price led the team with 29 points and 12 rebounds in the game.
Johnson & Wales opens their season against the Bruins on Friday. The Wildcats produced a successful 2023-24 season finishing the year 20-8.
The two programs have met 12 times since 2015 with the Wildcats winning the last eight contests to lead the series 8-4. The Bruins and Wildcats last met on December 8, 2022 where the Bruins played well, but ultimately dropped the road game 72-52.
TIp-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the JWU Wildcat Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
