The Bob Jones University women's basketball team wraps up their semester with a busy slate of games as they prepare for three straight contests. The Bruins will go on the road for games on Thursday and Friday before concluding their three-game series at home on December 14.

The team enters this weekend 4-5 on the year. Last Friday, they fell in a close 70-66 exhibition at Brevard College.

The Bruins begin their weekend on the road in Tennessee as they take on Sewanee at 8 p.m. on Thursday. Thursday's contest marks the fourth meeting between the Bruins and Tigers with Sewanee leading the all-time series 2-1. Each of these games have been close with neither team winning with more than a four point margin. Last year, the Bruins won the first of the home and home series with an 83-80 victory in the Davis Field House before falling in a closer 66-62 loss on the road in Sewanee.

The following day, the Bruins will make the hour drive to Lookout Mountain, Georgia for a 5 p.m. contest against Covenant College. After defeating Welch College in a narrow 51-50 victory last week, the Scots come into Friday's game 3-4 on the season. Last year, the Scots beat Bob Jones 63-45 to lead the series against the Bruins 3-2.

BJU wraps up their weekend with their final game of 2024 at home against Welch College on Saturday. The 1 p.m. game against the Flames is the sixth meeting between the two teams. The last win for the Bruins against Welch came back in 2020. The two programs met a month ago in Gallatin, Tennessee where the Bruins dropped a close 62-60 loss to the Flames.

Tip-off for Saturday's game is scheduled for 1 p.m. from the Davis Field House.
