The Bruins begin their home play at Alumni Stadium Thursday at 4 p.m. against the Greensboro College Pride.
They are 2-2 all time against Greensboro College with their most recent meeting last season that ended with a 5-1 Bruins win. Francesca Peters began the scoring in the 17th minute and Reagan Tierney ended the day with a goal in the 88th minute. In the 2022 season, the Bruins came away with a 1-0 win where current assistant coach Anna Grace Abrams put away the only goal of the match that led to the win.Â
The Bruins are coming off of a couple losses against quality opponents last weekend against Covenant College and Maryville College. They look to recover and get back into the win column in front of a home crowd.
