In the first game back from Christmas break, the Bruins fall to the Wildcats 84-65.
The Bruins struggled to knock down three-pointers shooting only 27% on the night. The Wildcats were able to get out to an early in the first half and the Bruins couldn't quite catch up. Knocking down 8 three-pointers really helped the Wildcats gain momentum.
The Wildcats were then able to score 16 points off turnovers to extend their lead in the second half. With this being an exhibition, it does not count against the official record.
Devin Pope led the way for the Bruins scoring 12 along with Shad Vander Hart and Trevor Pittman each scoring 10.
The Bruins are back in action Friday night as they welcome south region rival Pensacola Christian College at 7:00 p.m. in the Davis Field House.
