The Bruins women's basketball team concludes their five game home stand this weekend with back-to-back games against Southeastern Baptist College on Friday and Warren Wilson College on Saturday afternoon.
The Bruins look to break out of a four-game losing slide. Earlier this week, the Bruins fell in a narrow 70-66 loss to region opponent Toccoa Falls College to fall to a 5-11 season record and go 1-2 in conference play.
The weekend will get underway at 6 p.m. on Friday in the Davis Field House as the Bruins face off against NCCAA South Region opponent Southeastern Baptist College. The Chargers picked up their only win of the season on October 24 and have lost the last 16 games. Bob Jones met the Chargers earlier this season in Gallatin, Tennessee where the Bruins picked up the 54-44 victory. The Bruins look to add to their 2-0 all-time record against Southeastern Baptist Friday evening.
After a quick turnaround, the Bruins are back in action Saturday at 2 p.m. as they take on Warren Wilson College for the first of two games this season. The Owls make their way to Greenville 2-15 on the season. Saturday's contest will mark the 19th meeting between the two programs with the all-time record even at 9-9.
The Bruins look to get back in the win colum with their first tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday in the Davis Field House.
