The Bob Jones University women's basketball team kicks off their 2025-26 season on Friday with a NCCAA region matchup against Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, Mississippi. 

After returning all of their players from last season, the Bruins added three new student-athletes to their young team. The team played an opening scrimmage against Southern Wesleyan University on Wednesday evening. Following the scrimmage, Coach LeViere shared that there are several positives for his time to grow on for this season. 

Southeastern Bapstist College has already played three games this season, but they have come up short in each of the contests. 

The Bruins and Chargers have met three times throughout the past few years with Bob Jones taking the win in each of those meetings. Throughout those games, the Bruins have averaged 62 points against the Chargers.

Tip-off for Friday's game is scheduled for 8 p.m. EST in Laurel, Mississippi.
