After a two-game home stand, the Bob Jones University women's basketball team is back on the road for a Saturday afternoon contest at Meredith College. 

The Bruins enter the weekend matchup 2-2 on the season after falling to Brevard College 71-52 inside the Davis Field House on Tuesday. Following that game, Head Coach Mike LeViere said, "I felt our defense in the first half was really good and overall our half court defense is something that we continue to improve in. Our effort is always there, and I'm thankful for that, but our execution has to improve and we need to be disciplined and do our job at all times."

Meredith College opened their 2025-26 season on the road where they fell in a 82-39 loss to Centre College on Sunday. 

The Bruins and Avenging Angels met for the first time last November where the Bruins pulled out a 50-35 victory. In that game, the Bruins defense held strong and didn't allow the Avenging Angels to score in the final quarter of play. 

Tip-off for Saturday's game is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Raleigh, North Carolina.
