Nine Women's Soccer Players Earn Scholar-Athlete Recognition

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) released the list of the 2025 women's soccer Scholar-Athletes. The recognition is given to student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.40 GPA and are a junior, senior or graduate student. On the list were nine Bob Jones University women's soccer players.

Earning the academic achievement for the second time in their collegiate careers are senior kinesiology student-athletes Abby Arrowood and Reagan Tierney and senior health sciences major Myleigh Shaw.

Six other women's soccer players also received NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honors: senior business administration major Francesca Aurednik, junior health sciences student-athlete Shannon Miller, junior kinesiology student Lauren Green, junior kinesiology major Julia Hartzler, junior premed/predent major Jane Farr, and junior nursing student Margaret Cummings.

"We are incredibly proud and blessed to have such amazing scholar-athletes in our program," said Head Coach Chris Carmichael. "They have been an amazing testament to a perennially great program. To God be the glory for blessing these players with amazing athletic and academic talents and spiritual maturity."

These athletes and the rest of the women's soccer team are poised as they have the chance to repeat as National Champions this week in Kissimmee, Florida. Competition kicks off on Monday as the top-seeded Bruins take on #5 Grace Christian University.

BJU is an NCCAA Division II member featuring 13 varsity programs and over 200 student-athletes.
