Nationals week is here as the Bob Jones University women's volleyball team is in Joplin, Missouri ready to battle for the NCCAA DII National Championship title. 

After falling to Pensacola Christian College in the south region championship game, the Bruins received an at-large bid to compete at the national tournament. The Bruins enter the tournament as the #4 seed. Below are the rest of the participants of this week's tournament.

  • #3 - Pensacola Christian College (Pensacola, FL)
  • #4 - Bob Jones University (Greenville, SC)
  • #5 - Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, IA)
  • #6 - Alice Lloyd College (Pippa Passes, Ky)
  • #7 - Emmaus University (Dubuque, IA)
  • #8 - Ozark Christian College (Joplin, MO)
The Bruins open the national tournament on Wednesday as they begin pool play with a 10:30 a.m. start time against #5 Faith Baptist Bible College. The Eagles enter the tournament with a 26-7 season record after sweeping North Central University in the North Region Championship game. The Bruins and Eagles met once before at the national tournament in 2021 where the Bruins won in straight sets .

Pool play continues on Thursday as the Bruins take on #8 Ozark Christian College at 10:30 a.m. before facing the top-seeded Manhattan Christian College at 2:30 p.m. Thursday morning's match will be the first-ever meeting between Bob Jones and the host school Ozark Christian. Thursday afternoon, the Bruins will face off against the MCC Thunder who come to Missouri 27-1 on the year. The Bruins and Thunder are no strangers as they have met six times. The Bruins lead the all-time series 5-1, with Manhattan Christian winning the last meeting in 2024. 

The semifinals will take place on Friday as the winner and runner-ups from each pool will face off. The winner of each semifinal match will advance to the national championship game on 2 p.m. on Saturday.
