The Bob Jones University Bruins are setting the stage for another promising 2025 cross country season as the team announced their
season schedule.
Following a remarkable 2024 season where the men's team clinched their ninth consecutive NCCAA national title and the women's team secured a second place finish at nationals, the Bruins look forward to continuing their historied success.
The upcoming schedule is packed with six meets across the Carolinas, including the Bruins only home event of the year, the Bruins Night Classic, on September 5 on the soccer fields of Bob Jones University. This annual event is a great time for fans to cheer on the team under the lights.
The season kicks off with the Eye Opener in Spartanburg, South Carolina on August 29, setting the tone for a series of competitive events.
The cross country team's schedule highlights their strong presence in the Upstate of South Carolina with four crucial meets, presenting them multiple opportunities to compete against top regional talents. The season builds up to the NCCAA National Championships set for November 14 in Joplin, Missouri.
Speaking of his schedule, head coach Ken Roach said, "our 2025 cross country season kicks off with a great meet in August. We continue building momentum through September and taking a lighter meet load in October. We plan to come into the post season November national meet ready for a strong NCCAA DII national run with both the men's and women's team."
